Oil, Gas &
Petrochemical
Freight

OCTG Pipe · Drilling Equipment · Frac Sand · Heavy Haul

Freight for the patch and the plants — pipe, drilling equipment, wellhead, and processing skids moved on pad schedules that don’t care what day it is.

Oilfield Freight Runs on the Rig’s Clock, Not Yours

A rig doesn’t wait. When a drilling contractor needs pipe on location Thursday, Thursday isn’t a target — it’s the number that decides whether a crew stands around at day-rate. Lease roads are gravel, pads are muddy, and a driver who’s never been on one will get stuck and cost you a day.

Book Freight arranges truckload freight for drilling contractors, oilfield service companies, pipe distributors, and midstream operators. Flatbed, step deck, heavy haul, and hazmat capacity across the Permian, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, and the Gulf Coast — with carriers who’ve been on a lease road before.

Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Freight FAQ

Can your carriers run lease roads and get onto a pad?
Yes, but we confirm it up front rather than assume it. Not every carrier will run gravel, and a driver who’s never been on a pad will get stuck and cost you a day. Tell us the road condition, the turning radius, and whether the location can take a 53′ trailer, and we’ll put a carrier on it who can actually get in and out.
Do you move OCTG and line pipe?
Yes — casing, tubing, drill pipe, and line pipe from mills and pipe yards to rig sites and pipeline spreads. Securement is matched to the pipe and the route, with bunks, chains, and bundling planned before dispatch. Pipe that shifts on a lease road is a claim, not an inconvenience.
Can you handle oversize compressors and vessels?
Yes. Compressor packages, separators, production tanks, and pressure vessels run through our heavy haul operation — route surveys, state permits, curfews, and escorts worked before the load is dispatched. Send dimensions and weight and we’ll tell you what it needs before we quote.
Do you move drilling fluids and regulated chemistry?
Yes, on carriers verified for hazmat authority with drivers holding the endorsement. Send the UN number, proper shipping name, and packing group and we’ll confirm we can cover it. Packaged freight — drums, totes, and super sacks. We don’t arrange bulk liquid in tankers.
How fast can you cover an emergency rig-down part?
Same day in most cases, on hotshot, sprinter, or team capacity running direct. Call (205) 855-6385 with the origin, the location, and the dimensions and we’ll tell you what’s actually available right now rather than what we’d like to be.
Which basins do you cover?
Permian, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Marcellus, Utica, Bakken, and the Gulf Coast petrochemical corridor. Capacity tightens fast in an active basin — bring us the lane early and we’ll tell you honestly what the market looks like.
The rig doesn’t wait.
Neither do we.
Send the load, the location, and the need-by. You’ll get capacity, pricing, and a straight answer on whether we can hit it.
